A Protocol to Compare Prolonged Therapy of Mammary Carcinoma by the Administration of L-phenylalanine Mustard (L-PAM) plus 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) with L-PAM plus 5-FU plus Methotrexate (MTX)
Specific Aims
The purpose of this study is to determine whether, in patients with histologically positive axillary nodes, prolonged treatment with L-PAM + 5-FU + MTX (PMF) following conventional radical or modified radical mastectomy results in an increase in a disease-free period more protracted than that observed following the use of L-PAM + 5-FU (PF).
