Protocol C-01 A Clinical Trial to Evaluate Postoperative Immunotherapy and Postoperative Systemic Chemotherapy in the Management of Resectable Colon Cancer Specific Aims To determine if the disease-free survival and survival of patients who have had a "curative" resection of the colon is improved by the addition of (1) the three-drug regimen, 5-FU, MeCCNU and vincristine, or (2) postoperative BCG immunotherapy. This study was also designed to provide information relative to the pathology of colon cancer that will contribute to a greater understanding of the natural history of this cancer so that subsets of patients who are at higher risk of recurrence can be identified. ![]() |
